During the same period the Council of Europe established that homeopathy is one of the four best established forms of complementary and alternative medicine in Europe.
According to a Norwegian Government report, Homeopathy is the most frequently used CAM therapy in five out of 14 countries in Europe and among the three most frequently used in 11 out of 14 countries.

The ECCH survey was carried out to provide an overview of individual homeopath’s experience with nosodes in the treatment of their patients, the importance of these remedies in their practices as well as the availability of nosodes in their particular country.
