Irish MEP Marian Harkin sponsored and supported Homeopaths from all over Europe at a meeting with the European Parliament in Brussels on April 2nd.

This was the second such annual meeting marking EU Homeopathy Day and this year the theme was patient focussed. 

A young woman patient who was successfully treated with Homeopathy for endometriosis after undergoing various conventional treatments, gave a testimony to the group.

Presentations were also made on Complementary and Alternative Medicine in General and on the integrated service developed in the Tuscany Region of Italy. 

A Dutch legal expert addressed the group on how the law impacts on CAM and on patients rights in the EU.

The event was organised and funded  by the European Coalition for Homeopathic and Anthroposophic Medicinal Products  (ECHAMP)
